A very pleasant address.
A very cosy and friendly hotel: it's quiet, close to the city centre, the lake, the dinosaur park and with a car park.
It is comfortable, the rooms spacious and pleasant, the reception very pleasant and discreet and with good advice.

Nice address for this family hotel on the edge of the Etang de l'Olivier...
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the breakfast is fresh and tasty and the swimming pool is very pleasant in fine weather.
The reception and the relationship with the customers are warm and accommodating.
Very good value for money.
Parking available.

Perfect
Great welcome, very nice and cute hotel. Very good value for money.
Very good breakfast and nice on the terrace.
I recommend to all people who want to spend a moment of rest and relaxation. We will come back for a few days.

setting, welcome, comfort
Superb hotel, warm welcome, smiling (in spite of the mask), attentive, with the small care, beautiful large room of the breakfast, roomy, clear, ventilated, possible to take the breakfast in terrace, spacious rooms, clean shower and toilet separated, air-conditioning, room well insonorisées, excellent bed linen, comfortable mattress, calm hotel and well located right at the accesses of the city, pleasant pond of L' OLIVIER and park has a few meters of the hotel, excellent continental breakfast buffet.The hotel is ideal from every point of view and I highly recommend it.

Pleasant family hotel
Very quiet, family run hotel with very smiling, polite and pleasant staff. Situated a stone's throw from the lake and its park, ideal for family walks, and a five minute walk from the city centre, this hotel is extremely well located. The air-conditioned rooms are spacious and the modern sanitary facilities are a great asset.

Ideally located!
The hotel is ideally located, a few steps from the Etang de l'Olivier and the city centre.
The entrance of the Castellan is warm, romantic and cosy.
The welcome is just as pleasant!
Our room is spacious, and includes a wardrobe with hangers (an important detail!!), a bench on which to place your suitcase, for example, a table and chairs. The mattress and the bed base are of excellent quality, and the silence of the hotel made us sleep like lions!
Le Castellan is the hotel to stay in!

Affordable hotel, quiet, clean, ideally located, top breakfast and above all a charming couple whose friendly welcome made our stay a really pleasant one! Highly recommended for a stay in Istres, look no further 🙂

Lovely place and lovely staff
Very warm, clean hotel, ideally located in front of the lake, which is a change from the stereotyped, sanitized and charmless channels. Large rooms and impeccable bedding. The staff are welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. Nothing to complain about... except not being able to test the pool because of the weather 😉

The best 2* hotel
Tastefully decorated hotel, well located, spacious and comfortable room. Admittedly, the bathroom has a 70's style but is very clean. And in relation to the comments made. Yes the breakfast could be more copious with cold cuts, fruit salads and the bathrooms less kitsch. It's a 2* hotel in the city centre and for the price paid for the room and the breakfast, the value for money is excellent. If you want better, go to a 3* hotel but don't complain that the breakfast price is double.
On the other hand, I was well received and the staff do everything possible to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend this hotel.

Charming hotel
Refined decoration in pier import style. Quiet hotel with private parking. Nice volume in the rooms. Certainly a small refreshment is to be made but we had a clean room with good bed linen. The air conditioning in the room is a real plus. A real breakfast with good products. The owner and owneress are lovely. Thanks to them !!!!
